Even I admit that this is an obsession. Or how do you explain that 3 months after the close of the show, I'm still searching everyday and everywhere on the net, trying to find updates on the House mates. Every little information I find I off load on my husband who is beginning to get irritated. So I think I better share my scraps of information with my blog.
There's really not much information about most of the house mates. But I get information on Richard (who was my favourite, and he won by the way), and Tatiana and from the forum of the BBA 2. And now Richard's website is up and running, so that's another place to get information. Not to forget the Richiki blog which is updated by Forever who is even more fanatical about Richard than I am.
I don't really know what it is about that young man that makes middle aged women like myself admire him. He could be my son. He was born the year I graduated from university. I see all his flaws, but I also see his good points. I guess the good outweighs his flaws.
I'm glad I finally set up this blog. Now I can rant and rave about Richard without getting funny looks from my hubby.

And The Beat Goes on!!!
First to the BB Web updaters. Please put a little more effort into giving accurate reports. There are many people who are not watching the show, and swallow everything you report to keep up with what's going on. Even someone like me who watches, still relies on news from the website when I'm at work and can't watch. The news item you posted yesterday about the Maureen seeing the Gazunga being the cause of the quarrel between Richard and her was not quite correct. Those two were already at logger heads before Richard went to shower and proceeded to remove his towel not minding that Maureen was in the Shower with Code. Readers of course got it wrong and immediately started attacking Maureen for telling Tati that she saw the Gazunga. I know you guys are trying hard, but I personally would appreciate the extra effort. Thank-you.
When I saw Code and the other two guys in the Penthouse, I thought it was him who had invited them along, and was cheering him for being so mature. Not knowing its was Biggie that forced it on them. Whatever! I hope Richard didn't put too much of a damper on things because he was still mopping about Tatiana. The boys had a good laugh at Richie for not haven done the deed with Tati. They don't realise this is the last straw his clutching at. The only thing that belongs to his wife that he hasn't shared with Tati. They should leave Richie alone.
And the girls back at the BB house went totally berserk. Seems to me the girls had more fun than the boys. Maybe because the girls are friends already, whilst the boys were being forced to bond. Offuneka and her sob story. She's told it to almost everyone of the house mates. I've heard it so many times, it's become like a badge she wears. I wish she would just get on with her game instead of trying to be the house counsellor. She and her theory about the girls being in control in the house and having the boys eating out of their hands. If only she knew. Her close friend Tati voted for her.
Maureen's diary session yesterday made me laugh. She wants us to believe she hasn't gone all the way with Code. Poor thing, she dosen't know that Biggie put her on the uncut show last Friday, and we saw what went down between her and Code at the Penthouse. On a serious note though Maureen seems not to be in very good health. She's always in some pain, and clutching at her hot water bottle. I know BB wouldn't have let her in the house anyway, if she was under any threat of health crisis.
Enough of my rantings for one day. Can't wait till Sunday to see how the voting goes.

It's been one hectic weekend on BBA II and am I glad to see Bertha out of the house. Bertha is one house mate I disliked with a passion. Came into the house pretending to be a holier than though Mother Theresa. She really fooled all the house mates. During that period, almost everyone confided one thing or the other in her. When she eventually showed her Anaconda side she used all those confidences against the house mates. Enough said. She's out, and I breath a sigh of relief.
The lesson I learned from Bertha and her relationship with other house mates, is not to trust too fast. Make friends, exchange banter, but don't give up your inner most thoughts, until you know who the next person is.
I'm hoping Kwaku goes next. Predictable or not. The man works on my last nerve. Did anyone catch his diary session with BB on Monday. He's so full of himself. And BB knowing all that is going on tried to make him do a reality check. But Kwaku is too far gone. How can one person be so egocentric?
My next choice for who leaves would be Tatiana. This girl thinks she's smart. She's beaten Richard at his game, and the guy is now putty in her hands. Somehow I can't bring myself to dislike Richard, I don't know why. He brought this on himself by getting involved with Tatiana. Now he's in way over his head, and am afraid Tati may drown him. Their story reminds me of the relationship between Robins Givens and Mike Tyson, or even Katung and Iffy in BBN. The player has been played. Richard is just too young and inexperienced to handle a girl like Tati. He's 25 like a 21 year old, she's 26 going on 35.
My sympathy lies with Richard. At least he's more sincere than she is. Not Tatiana who is boasting to Kwaku, that if she handles Richard, he will loose his head.
Will someone please tell Ofunneka, that she's over played this Dr. Phil thing she's doing with Rich & Tati. I was so annoyed on Monday night, when she was persuading Richard to go and apologise to Tatiana. What's in it for her to see Richard being made a fool of. And she goes to Tati and agrees with Tati that Richard is behaving childishly. These two are adults, and will eventually sort themselves out. She should get off their case and get a life.
I better get off this blog and earn my pay for the day. Tomorrow is another day.

Richard and Tatiana
Correct me if I'm wrong, but was it not Tatiana who initiated this relationship. I remember her telling Bertha (in her Mother Theresa days), that she was developing feelings for Richard and Bertha encouraged her to go for it. Adding that Richard is an adult and could decide if he would reciprocate or not. Again maybe I'm wrong.
At the beginning I thought, these guys genuinely like each other and are fighting hard to control themselves because of commitments they have in the real world. I used to find their discussions poignant, and oh so romantic. After their first visit to the penthouse, my respect for Richard went up a zillion notches.
Lately, I'm beginning to wonder about Tatiana. She seems to be doing everything she can to discredit Richard with the other house mates. Richard is also not helping matters. Knowing he cannot hold his liqueur, why does he "guzzle" so much. Once he gets drunk, he tongue loosens, and all the things his been keeping on the down and low spill out.
I've been asking myself, why the sudden interest by Lerato & Bertha last weekend in seeing Richard's Gazunga. Someone must have told them about it, and I'm guessing it must be Tati. She herself was seeing it for the first time in the middle of last week. Then the others girls start getting curious. I don't think it's any of the boys, becasue they have know about it for a long time and none of them spilt the beans. This is just one of the examples of Tati's sly ways. It seems to me that she is setting him up for nomination by the other housemates. But then again these are just my thoughts.
Richard without the complication of Tati, is such a good player and fun to watch. even if he's rough around the edges, so what. Nothing that some grooming would not take care of. I actually like his brashness. He comes across to me as being a very sincere, romantic, childishly playful and daring person. All in all not so bad a combination from where I stand.

My Thoughts on BBAII
I've been following this show closely. Other BB shows I would just watch the highlights etc. Much to my surprise not only is the show interesting, I'm learning so much from the interactions between these young people.
This how it actually is in the real world. Different people living together, (maybe not so closely), working together. The Backstabbing, the intrigues, the politics people play to out smart each other. It's a real eye opener.
I've just decided that from time to time I'll scribble down one or two things that I observe about the show. For me it's just therapeutic.
